Something I meant to point out when I posted before...
Until recently I hadn't heard anything about Terri on my local news... but in the last few days she's been mentioned consistantly. Yesterday, she was mentioned right after some news about the Partial Birth Abortion Bill

It's a good day for life in America...
First, Jeb ordered that Terri be fed again... and now George is going to sign the Partial Birth Abortion Bill as soon as he returns from overseas. It's a shame he wasn't here to sign it the same day as Jeb signed Terri's Bill.

I pray that these two things are only the start of more and bigger and better things to preserve the quality & sanctity of life in this country.

This weekend I will most likely be meeting Maria from CYA while we're both in the same city - me for my diocesean pilgrimage, and she for a family event. I'm really excited :o)

Another update on Terri's case. The Florida house has passed a bill that would enable the governor to, in effect, issue a stay of execution & have Terri's feeding tube reinserted. Read more here. As I'm writing this, I'm also talking to Joel. It's about 2pm in Japan right now. Here he is with a German man on his lap. And this is a picture of the girl who agreed to go out on a date with him. Edited to add: For those of you who do not know our dear Joel, this is a BIG DEAL. :)
