I live across the street from the fire department. I see fire trucks all the time. And cop cars, too. However, I have not EVER seen an unmarked cop car & a fire truck parked outside of my landlord's home (next door) and another in my "parking lot"... and with firefighters in full gear, too. It's kinda scary. I can't see any visible signs of fire anywhere so I'm really rather confused. I don't like it. I had been in my living room eating spicy pretzels and watching Oprah, but I felt like I was staring at the fire trucks too much so I came back to my office so I can kinda see what's going on but it's a little harder for people to tell that I'm watching. I'm sneaky like that.
I'm supposed to get new neighbors soon. I just hope those neighbors don't end up being my landlords because of something happening to their house. That would suck.
The firetruck that had been in front of my place is now in the driveway that leads to the back apartment. I could go back to watching TV because the way it's parked you can't see anything next door.
No ambulance so far... that's a good sign... not sure where the heck they'd park it if needed. About the only place left is next to my car and that's pretty far away from the house.
