Last night, I was spontaneous. My friend Caroline, who works as a Youth Minister, invited me to join her and her friend John at a Catholic hip-hop concert at a nearby church. After a little bit of being confused and lost (not unusual when I'm driving), I finally made it... and we had a great time! Everyone go check out Righteous B's web site and hear some clips of his music. It's very catchy. And even if you can't understand exactly what he's saying, at least you know it's safe to let your kids listen because he's rapping about God and the Church.
Funny but typical stuff happened to me last night... I got some change from buying a CD and the woman who gave it to me said "You'll have some ones for your lunch money." Then, Righteous B signed my CD & asked me if I was in Caroline's youth group. Someday maybe God will decide it's time to let me look like a grown-up.
After the concert, the three of us went out for a mini-CDN at the bar down the road. Riddle me this... why is there always a bar in close proximity to the Catholic Church? :o)

With only five more new episodes of Friends left to go, Amanda has published some of her favorite Friends memories here. A while ago, she had asked us all for our favorite Friends episode, and I've been thinking about it and trying to pick one, but I just can't. And I just realized it's WAY past my bedtime and I'm going to be very sleepy at work tomorrow if I don't get to bed. So I'm going to finish this thought tomorrow. Good night!
