i got a ticket!
Tomorrow I'm going to see President Bush at a rally in Erie. I'm quite excited about this. It'll be a great opportunity to get together with voters who have not been aborted & who are less likely to abort future voters who will more likely grow up to be voters who will not abort additional future voters (see Ales Rarus for more on this topic, referred to as the Roe Effect)

I've been running my mind around a million different social & political controversies/topics/things that bother me lately and it seems that any time I start to get ready a post on a topic, someone else beats me to it & I like theirs better.

Soon I'll be coming to some conclusions on my previous post about abortion on television. I have a little more television research to do.

...who has links to other Pittsburgh blogs, I found this little gem about the world's greatest city and why it sucks. The city, no, the whole REGION really need to take some initiative or it's going to become a "ghost town."
True Pittsburgh has bunches of rants about the 'Burgh, mixed with little bits of news.

In other news, I'm feeling like a rotten fan. Local band The Clarks played on Letterman last night. We had every intention of taping it, but completely forgot.

I guess I was just too wrapped up in watching Alexandra & Vanessa Kerry get booed by all the half-naked teenagers at the MTV Video Music Awards

This weekend, Dawn & I are headed north to Erie to see The Bushy on Saturday. It promises to be a grand ol' partytime. (haha I'm so funny! not.)

regional st. blogger
What a small, small world in which we live. Ales Rarus is worth a read, especially if you live in the tri-state area. Funky Dung will tell you about moderate politics, bad journalism at Pitt and, of course, all things Catholic.

scotty, beam me up!
See? That's the way the line is supposed to be.
Poor Scotty just couldn't seem to get people to quote him correctly. And now he's sick. And that's sad. So, in tribute to Scotty, let's all get the line right!

the truth laid bear
I found a neat little ranking system courtesy while I was surfing around st. blogs. It can be found at The Truth Laid Bear and it's based on an ecosystem. At the moment, I'm an insignificant microbe... so, people, please keep coming back & looking for stuff to read. Then my rank on the blogger food chain will increase :)
